I had the pleasure of working on
I had the pleasure of working on JT and Grace's wedding welcome bags this past weekend (and past few weeks). A total Miami destination wedding (99.9% of their guests are from out of town), this lovely couple requested 150 bags full of welcome items for their guests to enjoy. The list of items:

Dried Mangos

Sunglasses

Water Tumbler

Texas Cookie for the Bride and Florida Cookie for the Groom

Water Bottle with a Custom Label

Miami PostCard

A Recovery Kit with Advil and Bandaids for the Morning after the Wedding

An Orange

A List of Miami To-Dos

A Wedding Day Itinerary

Welcome Bag Tags

Grace and I worked together on the design aspects of the card stock items as seen below, my wonderful printer and Cricut did the rest of the work, and my amazing HOL crew and I worked on stuffing the bags.

Please ignore my face in this picture but I figured I should take a picture surrounded by all of my work product!

Her wedding colors are black, white, charcoal, and a hint of blush. By complete and utter chance, the post-card, (bought on Zazzle, the best website ever), which I bought before I knew her color scheme, actually incorporates most of those colors, tying all of the card stock items together!

Isn't this itinerary adorable? To add a personal touch, I created a custom monogram and incorporated it throughout most of the items.

I swear I should probably make the below "Miami To-Dos" into an article and try to publish (or even write a book) because even as a local, it took a while to put together!

See below for the actual text and recommendations.

The most amazing machine ever, the cricut, in action.

We were between two different messages for the welcome tags. The first one is pretty standard and seen often, especially on etsy and pinterest. The second was Grace's idea - I hadn't seen it and thought it was different and equally beautiful. Up on the etsy shop soon!
